The Mineral Show returns to Bourg D’Oisans, in the heart of the Oisans valleys, to the majestic setting of the newly renovated Foyer Municipal.

Come and listen to experts explaining the history of our mountains, the mines and their minerals, and the lasting influence of minerals on man through the centuries.

The main competition will offer numerous prizes
which will be revealed on the 17th March, 2014
Any school can enter the main competition, either individually or collectively, and compete for one of the many prizes.
Enter your children’s creations on the subject of minerals – drawings, paintings, photos, any art which draws its inspiration from the world of minerals
The children’s workshops are free, and will include beginners’ classes in stone cutting, on the origins of our mountains…
Discover the unusual and unexpected from the tourist offices of the 6 valleys – drive on ice like the Trophee Andros specialists, discover the mines by helicopter, hang-glide over the valley, climb and canoe your way along the Veneon, race up the steep Chemin du Facteur … and many many more ……
We are looking for volunteers of all ages to help with organizing the Mineral Show in years to come.
